er box – an external ADSL modem no longer is required. As the router is able to directly control the chipset of the integrated modem, it is able to achieve optimized performance – even fully utilized lines stay low-latency, suitable for VoIP applications. This modem module supports ADSL with Annex B speeds of up to 16 Mbit/s in the downstream direction.
Hint: Make sure you pick the right type of ADSL modem. Annex B is usually only used in countries where EuroISDN is available. Analog phone lines (POTS) usually use Annex A instead.
Supported protocols are: ADSL (G.992.1/G.992.2) , ADSL2 (G.992.3), ADSL2+ (G.992.5), PPPoE, PPPoA, RFC1483, CHAP/PAP, Annex A (ADSL-over-ISDN)
Connectors: 1x RJ45 jack to connect to the ADSL splitter by CAT.5 cable (splitterless operation also supported)
